ILF Committed To "Supported Businesses"

The ILF is committed to supporting the Government’s policy of providing disabled people with the opportunity to enter the labour market.  Our procurement policy has recently been updated to more accurately reflect this.

We now routinely reserve contracts for 'Supported Businesses' in accordance with the provisions of the EU Procurement Regulations and operate Special Contracts Arrangements for contracts under the EU threshold.  We have in the region of 20 supply arrangements, which are periodically put out to tender and the British Association for Supported Employment (BASE) will be notified of all opportunities that arise.  For more information about supported employment visit the BASE website - www.base-uk.org.
